Project Brief

Accathon Capital is the world's most passionate cross-border accelerator who help bridge the future between China and America. The client wanted me to create a brand new identity for them and use visual strategy to assist them express their enthusiasm.

My Role

I was in charge of developing new branding for Accathon Capital. I created and presented a variation of logos and created a brand guide and stationaries with the new brand. I also further developed the brand based on the different target audiences and different scenarios.

The Design

Core Branding & Stationeries

The new brand design aim to showcase the Accathon Capital as a bridge to connect the US and China’s most cutting edit tech. I used the green and gold color combination to express Accathon Capital is trustworthy.

Banners & Deck Templates

The banner and the deck templates were designed based on the core branding to enable the brand identity into different usages. The new brand elements were developed to expand the brand recognition in the startup community.

Dark mode

While lighter tone creating a sense of trust for the existing members, the “dark mode” is designed to attract newcomers and potential target audiences.

Project Result

The new branding was well received by Accathon. It allows Accathon to bring the brand into their trip to China. The T-shirt was loved by all founders who went on the trip. At the same time, it became the hottest gift during the trip.
